Upgrade The Meaning is more than just a sync library—we're a movement. We exist to empower artists, producers, engineers, and creatives by redefining what it means to succeed in the music industry. Through collaboration, education, and access to sync opportunities, we help creators own their sound, upgrade their value, and land lucrative placements.
What we Do
At our core, Upgrade The Meaning is a collaborative sync platform where creatives work together to craft high-quality music for film, TV, and media. Unlike traditional sync libraries that merely collect and submit music, we provide a community-driven approach that allows artists to co-create and own their rights—maximizing their chances of success.
Our Process
Create
Artists and producers upload concepts and collaborate to build full songs.
Refine
Tracks go through a structured process, ensuring they meet professional sync standards.
Pitch
We connect finished songs with sync agents, music directors, and production houses actively searching for new music.
But we’re not stopping there. We’re building a training platform to educate creators on producing, mixing, mastering, and songwriting. As we grow, our vision extends beyond music—eventually fostering collaboration across art, film, literature, and beyond.
The Story Behind the Movement
Upgrade The Meaning was founded by Goliath (Joseph Allen Long) and Tre Kelley (Anjus Morris Kelley III)—two creatives who saw a gap in the industry. Both members of The Lucrative Community (by Magnedo7), they were looking for ways to elevate their music careers when Tre approached Goliath with an idea: what if artists worked together to craft music specifically for sync?
What started as a small group of five quickly grew into a collective of engineers, producers, songwriters, and artists, all working toward one goal: to redefine success in the music industry by upgrading the meaning of creativity and ownership.
